Still not quite settled in

I haven't gotten a wired connection yet, so my internet is still spotty.

I have gotten all my books out of storage, and my living room is now completely lined with bookcases.

My bedroom is still mostly empty. All that's in there is a desk, a chair, and a table.

I've been taking naps on the floor and on the oddly large bay windowsill. It's amazing how big an apartment looks without a bed taking up an inordinate amount of space. Got a one bedroom apartment or studio? Go polyphasic, it'll look like a mansion once you ditch your bed.

I've been neglecting posting, because I've been gradually moving, working more hours, reading through the Achewood archives, and trying to find a girlfriend.

Woo, my cat is fat and life is good.

I'll get out those longish posts sooner or later.

Twelve hour shift, somewhat loopy from missed naps. Less so, though, than I would have been a month or two ago on polyphasic sleep adaptation. Woo.

Behold the fortress

I am now moved into my new place. A huge one bedroom apartment arguably in a local maximum. No room-mates. No drunk people stumbling through.

Looking at my blog for the first time in weeks, it appears sms butchered my posts. I've got too much stuff to do to fix their poor mangles.

This is my first night in my new place. I've got Dizzy Gillespie blasting, the cat exploring the nooks and crannies, and  books piling into a rough order. An order which, upon close examination, could probably tell you everything you could ever want to know about me.

Blogging will commence again as soon as I'm settled in. I've got a bunch of longish posts on my experience with polyphasic sleep, a few rants, and a few posts on brainfarting functional notation.

My den of solitude is coming together nicely. I need only more cats.
